Journals - World War II Veteran

On May 29th students in both the Contemporary Issues through Videoconferencing courses and the World History Honors courses spoke with Mr. Jimmy Fried, a WWII veteran. He volunteers at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, La. We worked with Chrissy Gregg, Virtual Classroom Coordinator at the museum, to set up this videoconference.

Mr. Fried is 94-years old and he served in the U.S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant in the 2nd Infantry Division deployed to north France in the Vosges Mountains. The students were so honored to have spent time talking with Jimmy Fried!
