Journals - Students from Nuremberg, Germany
Arab Spring Videoconference
Passaic Valley, in collaboration with MAGPI, hosted a discussion with the our visiting German students on April 16th!  The German students are currently visiting PV for one week. They are from the Sigmund-Schuckert Gymnasium in Nuremberg, Germany.
Arab Spring Videoconference
The students from Germany were very excited to have such a unique opportunity to speak with another U.S. school as well as a school from India. The U.S. school was the Penn Hills School District (Pittsburgh, PA) whose students spoke German very well and this was a real treat for our German guests. The international school was our friend Murali's school, Veera Savarkar Netaji Matriculation School, located in Chennai India.
Arab Spring Videoconference
The topics of discussion were centered around politics in Europe as compared to the U.S., immigration issues in Germany and everyday teenage life in all three countries! These cultural exchanges make Passaic Valley truly distinctive.

This conference was made possible by a connection through MAGPI - Mid-Atlantic Gigapop in Philadelphia for Internet2
