Domestic Violence videoconference
Domestic Violence videoconference
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month.
We had the chance to speak about this serious issue via videoconference with our peers in the U.S. and some experts in the field.

We spoke with Tabitha Joyner, who is an Education and Outreach Coordinator at Break the Cycle, based in Washington, D.C.  We also spoke with Atossa Leoni, an actress, who is involved in domestic violence awareness.
"In this videoconference, we talked about the different forms of domestic violence and ways to prevent it.
We learned about how we could stop it and make others aware of it.  Learning about how many teens are in relationships that may constitute domestic violence is very concerning."  -Jillian
